3D walk through castle

I’ve always loved castles, and the idea of virtual walk throughs. So, having had fun making a star destroyer, I’m going to try to make a realistic full size castle in Codea, that you can walk through freely.

Something like the picture above.

Some parts may be impossible (eg spiral staircases inside towers) but we’ll see. I’m bound to learn something by trying it.

I’ll share the journey here, for those who are interested. There should be stacks of useful 3D techniques. So look out for the posts labelled Castle 3D.
